I'm a trained therapist and spent a chunk of time life professionally (and a lot more casually) working with people suffering from all sorts of problems.

The reason I don't participate in that field anymore whatsoever is because I learned that almost no one wants to recover, faking it or not. They just want to be a victim and cry.
