That path was catalysed by Facebook and social media. So before Trump 2.0 happens, we need to ensure that regulation of big tech is becomes a priority in the upcoming legislative agenda. We can’t keep allowing this algorithmic assault on democracy to continue.

The marjority of modern Democrats and Democrat voters are considered extremely low information voters.
They don't know and don't care about anything except what their social group is trending that week, which is usually just whatever the big media groups are pushing for the week.
Ask them how many different wars Obama started and you'll get a blank stare. Ask how many Trump started and you'll get some kind of angry rant with no basis in reality.
It's even better if you meet an older Democrat and ask them how Obamacare was for them personally. 9 times out of 10 they dodge it hard and talk about minorities or something stupid.
