There are muslim countries, and then there are countries with muslims in them. Muslim countries can be peaceful (provided one sect of Islam is utterly dominant within them). Countries with muslims in them are subject to violence.
I'm really not surprised in the slightest that China, Myanmar, India and Israel are all doing their damnedest to push Islam out of their countries.
