So Trump has won the 2024 election. This seems to be one part of a big political realignment.

How much of that do you think will be reflected in pop culture? Are we finally going to see video games, movies, TV shows, etc. without Marxist propaganda, anti male or femininity plot points or mechanics, pronouns, or the blatant belittling of the aspects of traditional heroes?

On video games, will developers be less incentivized to do things like make them online only, hire firms like Sweet Baby Inc, put more time and care into the Day 1 releases, and be in a better position to make them more like how they were in the 2000s?

Or will we just see more of the same?

Bitter, angry people doubling down on destructive and divisive ideas being forced into mediums that were supposed to just entertain and uplift people. Destroying the mainstream pop culture world with a "better to burn out than fade away" philosophy.

I thought this is a great time to start a discussion like this.

Could Trump's victory and the ensuing political realignment mean an end to cultural wokeness and a return to putting one's customers first? I'd love to see your guys' thoughts on this topic.

As per the title, are there any content creators or websites you can think of that do what used to make sites like GameSpot or IGN great?

I'm talking about gaming (or general pop culture) news, reviews, previews, history features/top 10 lists, etc. free of any blatant wokeness or unwarranted politics.

Politics are important, but it's healthy to have other things to focus on too so that we can support empowering things that are reminiscent of the values and ideas we're trying so hard to conserve.

Therefore, feel free to name your favorite personalities and outlets below so that their audiences can grow and we can build up a better alternative to the woke, Marxist mess that is the current pop culture landscape.

Let's prove that great art doesn't have to be defined by DEI, Marxism, or focus groups.

As per the title, are there any feature or TV length productions from 2019 to the present that you think are diamonds in the rough? Any that truly put good writing and characterization first and don't have any woke gender or anti-populism/Republican nonsense?

If they do have any political leanings, are they at least not so preachy or heavy handed about it?

I think the discussions on this site about the overwhelming proliferation of heavily left leaning politics in pop culture are compelling.

However, I thought it would be cool to highlight the gems that break free of that nonsense and bring the depth and creativity back to these mediums.

It'd be nice to show people examples of good works out there so that they know they're not alone in just wanting good entertainment and know that it's still possible. Even if said works don't quite have mainstream popularity.

So I'd love to see what examples of good TV shows or movies free of wokeness or are at least not overly political you can think of.
