And it occurs to me that it shows the hypocrisy of the left. They are always going on about not being allowed to dictate to the offended class what is and isn't offensive to that class.
And yet despite a large number of Catholics feeling mocked and offended the "sisters" persist that it isn't offensive. Now I know the left won't see it or won't care but I wanted to point out the hypocrisy for fun.
You might see Tom Hanks abd think this will be a nice apolitical movie. Or maybe you saw the trailer and thought it was about a based old guy, akin to Gran Torino. The movie neither of those things. First it opens with a suicide trigger warning before one production logo runs. Every white person is portrayed as extremely incapable and stupid, or as shady assholes. Except "Malcom" who is a trans man.
The movie is nothing but a collection of liberal tropes, magic immigrant neighbors, shady white real estate firm, a disabled wife that did everything, the trans person....
And the movie is purposely built to be saccharine hoping to illicit tears, and say important things. I know it's an older movie and didn't make waves but it just irked me and this is my outlet....sorry to waste yawl's time
