"You are a leftist." - Nope, never voted a day in my life and I hate the Liberal party. Funny how you accuse others of being your political opponents even when they have nothing to do with said politics. Goes to show how fried your brain has been by internet forums and political propaganda. And, oh yeah, I don't care what you think of me.

I can't even understand your rambling anymore. I don't speak in nonsense buzzwords. This conversation is over.

"I've been to gay weddings, which means I'm an expert on gay people and have an excuse to be needlessly cruel and ignorant to other queer people." That's your argument. Also, your casual use of the word "leftists" tips me off to your true motivations. Spoilers: they're political.

Oh, that's rich considering ALL transphobes are groomers/pedophiles. The last man who accused me of being a groomer openly admitted to touching the penises of little boys. He told me he was taught to do this in Sunday school as a kid and hasn't stopped since becoming an adult. Tell me that isn't grooming. ...You're a pedophile too. It's always projection with bigots. If you call someone a pedophile, chances are you're the real groomer here. YOUR ACCUSATIONS ARE YOUR CONFESSIONS.

It is so sad to see people calling educating children about sexuality "sexualizing children" and "grooming children". Especially knowing that teaching children how things work and what is appropriate and is not, actually helps them speak up and prevent prolonged sexual abuse. It is precisely this "anti-grooming" ideology that is making grooming easier. (Plus, anti-LGBTQ+ people are the kind to talk about teenage girls like sex dolls that need to “submit” then throw temper tantrums over a sentence in a book: https://youtu.be/vYvt8IIwC2s)

Anti-LGBTQ+ bigots saying you "want to protect the children?” Liars.

You only seem to become concerned about children when they or their families object to your own agenda: LGBTQ+ kids, kids with different political views, kids who reject your own political views, etc. You go absolutely wild for those kids, yet ignore every other child out there and their suffering. You complain about queer kids being “groomed”, yet I have never seen an anti-SJW/reactionary that makes posts, videos, or articles on child brides. Yes, they still exist in various groups across the world. (Sometimes you even PRAISE child brides, teenagers literally sold by their families to adult men like property.) You never talk about the abuse that child actors have faced for a century now, but you're bonkers when child drag queens are exploited. But I guess those other children being exploited on stage don't matter. Where were you for kids like Maddie Ziegler, Millie Bobby Brown, Jeannette McCurdy, and the hundreds of other child performers being abused in the media industry? What about the thousands of children physically attacked or outright murdered every year? Do you care? Do you make posts mourning the children and sending prayers to their families? NO! You outright tell the victims of school shootings that their children's murders were hoaxes and then harass grieving families. Child soldiers? Children in poverty? Homeless children? Disabled children? You. Don't. Care.

Anti-SJWs don't care about anything but making you their puppet with a shotgun, ready to mow down anyone that disagrees with anything they say. Say, that sounds familiar...

“To "unify" a country, fascist movements propagated extreme nationalism that often went hand in hand with militarism and racial purity (like extreme pro-gun, justified discrimination towards minorities, giving too much power to already powerful groups, etc.) And for some fascists “the group” was defined not by territorial boundaries but by racial identity. Many of them lambasted liberalism for its alleged role in sowing political disunity and moral degeneracy. Although many fascist movements initially organized themselves around democratic institutions for political legitimacy, they resorted to totalitarianism in practice. A component of this process became the reorganization of society around a strict moral code that often sought to reverse the “decadence” of pre-fascist culture.”

While not every anti-SJW is a fascist, many anti-SJW ideals/talking points are fascist in nature as they have the end goal of "othering" people and creating an “us VS them” mentality. Which can easily lead down a slippery slope that can result in things like the Club Q mass shooting in Colorado led by a politically-manipulated man whose church was led by a homophobic pastor who claimed that LGBTQ+ people deserved to die. More information about said crime here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cw4aAzjEWPo&feature=youtu.be

This a warning to both anti-SJWs and those who aren't: anti-SJW movements are hypocritical, use everything for political purposes no matter how absurd or distasteful, and can legitimately lead to hate crimes like mass shootings and discrimination laws. You are afraid of the truth. You are afraid of what is different from you. You are not about "protecting the children": you are about power and control.

Harmful to kids? Like guns. Cause just about every other day last year, a child under 13 shot someone else under 13; 2/3 were self inflicted, and 71 died. How many trans kids die when they want to be called a different name? None at all. It’s almost as if letting kids express themselves doesn’t cause any harm at all and is a good way to explore who they are in a safe environment to do so, while guns have led to the injury or death of about 162 kids in 2022 alone and that’s not even considering anyone over 13 having one. So when is the world going to step up and protect kids from guns? Never? Right, cause it’s not about protecting kids. It’s about applying to bigots in the most extreme way and trying to get queer people killed by bigots or by their own hand because they experience so much hatred they feel they have no other choice since bigots know the vast majority of people aren’t bigots and it’s the only way for them to stay in power.

Also, no one is putting kids in front of naked drag queens. Nice fearmongering, though. But kids can be queer! Cross-gender behaviors can begin as early as 2 years old, which is the start of the developmental period in which children begin expressing gendered behaviors and interests. Early-onset gender dysphoria typically starts in childhood and continues into adolescence and adulthood; late-onset gender dysphoria, on the other hand, occurs around puberty or much later in life. This is according to Psychology Today: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/conditions/gender-dysphoria https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/political-minds/202008/three-popular-myths-about-transgender-youth

No one is giving kids surgeries, either. Puberty blockers are basically used to- not stop- but pause the effects of puberty in children. A puberty blocker is a short-term solution to children experiencing gender dysphoria or precocious puberty. It stops the process for as long as a child is using the medication. Once usage stops, puberty will resume. Puberty blockers are administered by a healthcare provider through injections or an implant that goes under the skin. In order for puberty blockers to keep working, injections must be received monthly or every few months, and implants have to be replaced yearly. They’ve even been used to treat conditions like prostate cancer, breast cancer and endometriosis. Negative side effects are both minimal and easily reversible. Bone density is a concern because puberty blockers decrease bone mineral density that hinder bone growth. Once a child goes off of a puberty blocker, the bone mineral density increases. Doctors use an increase of vitamin D and calcium to help combat this. Rashes, headaches, and weight gain are also concerns: nothing fatal or uncurable. Studies have shown that it can drastically improve the mental health of young people. They also used puberty blockers on kids that have developed breast cancer, as it stops the cancer from growing along with breast tissue. The American Academy of Pediatrics showed that transgender teens who were able to receive puberty blockers experienced superior mental health outcomes when compared with those who wanted the medication but did not receive it.

“As a fascist trend, the anti-gender movement supports ever strengthening forms of authoritarianism. Its tactics encourage state powers to intervene in university programs, to censor art and television programming, to forbid trans people their legal rights, to ban LGBTQI people from public spaces, to undermine reproductive freedom and the struggle against violence directed at women, children, and LGBTQI people. It threatens violence against those, including migrants, who have become cast as demonic forces and whose suppression or expulsion promises to restore a national order under duress.” - Judith Butler (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/commentisfree/2021/oct/23/judith-butler-gender-ideology-backlash)

This is your end goal with your anti-LGBTQ+ agenda. Everything you claim to fight against you fight for. You suckle of the tit of censorship, violence, abuse of power, government control, and a destruction of individuality and hope.

Oh, and don’t forget the anti-LGBTQ+ politicians defending child abuse: https://god.dailydot.com/lauren-boebert-son-called-911/

Oh, and deal with the sexual assault done by your politicians (including presidents) thanks!: https://www.reuters.com/article/us-new-york-cuomo-figures-factbox-idUSKBN2B42TP https://www.govtrack.us/misconduct

Oh, but you might have a bias towards politicians. I guess political power is more important to you than doing the right thing. How noble: https://news.syr.edu/blog/2021/06/14/new-research-how-political-bias-impacts-believing-sexual-assault-victims/

LGBTQ+ are still oppressed, no matter how much you plug in your ears. Over 300 anti-transgender bills were written in America in 2023 alone. 91 of those were about banning transgender health care, like estrogen and testosterone pills (which non-trans people also use). 39 of those were sports bans whose wording can also include any feminine cis man or masculine cis woman, or even cis people with different body types and hormone amounts. 44 were forced-outing bills, which could result in higher risks of suicide, self-harm, youth homelessness, child neglect, and censorship. 27 of those were bans on drag shows, regardless of the content actually within those shows. Some are for adults only, some are more age-appropriate. Same goes for pop concerts. Some pop concerts are appropriate for kids, some aren’t. Does this mean we ban all pop shows because some are inappropriate? Some bills were also worded that any man dressed feminine or any woman dressed masculine on stage or performing in general could be held under these laws (regardless of context, intention, or sexuality and gender of the performer.) …This doesn’t mean the bills will all pass, but they were made and attempted to be put in place. Some bills have already been approved. American Gov. Spencer Cox infamously shot down a bill that would ban transgender teenagers from participating in sports because it only affected four kids in his entire state. Let me repeat that: they are willing to make entire bills to ruin the lives of just four kids. This is oppression. And if you really support freedom of speech and defense of rights, you’d be pro-LGBTQ+ yourself lest you be a hypocrite.

Playing victim while actively supporting our removal to human rights is hilariously hypocritical.

MaryMagicPie -3 points ago +1 / -4

That was how a lot of film festivals were for years, hon. Also, you're not a victim: stop being a hypocrite by playing identity politics while complaining about gay people.

-1
MaryMagicPie -1 points ago +1 / -2

Wow, okay, you're politically brainwashed if you think Nazis don't exist in the modern world and the far-right doesn't exist as an extremist political group. It's clear you're extremely biased and don't actually know what you're talking about, so how about we part amicably and move on with our lives?

-2
MaryMagicPie -2 points ago +1 / -3

Honey, you don't have to watch LGBTQ+ content to be an ally. And don't worry, I know you actively hate gay people because you're throwing a tantrum over a gay film festival.

-1
MaryMagicPie -1 points ago +1 / -2

If you don't think the far-right exists, you need a reality check. Even in my cringey anti-SJW phase (similar to the one you're going through right now) I still believed in the alt-right. And yes, I shouldn't have to point out that lobbying exists because everyone knows about political lobbying. People are paid to be anti-LGBTQ+, like politicians being paid off by Christian nationalists to make anti-LGBTQ+ bills that benefit the lobbyists.

-1
MaryMagicPie -1 points ago +1 / -2

You're proving my point here, hon. We make our own original creations, but you "don't give a shit" and don't notice them. You only use mainstream examples of reboots and remakes as scapegoats to attack us for... the crime of existing? You're going out of your way intentionally to hate on LGBTQ+ people.

-10
MaryMagicPie -10 points ago +1 / -11

Actually, you're still incorrect. The LGBTQ+ community is not an organization and thus, can't be a labelled as an actual cult. Mostly because it's not a cult. Most LGBTQ+ are also not sexually-active or interested in sex, such as asexual people. Perhaps you need to stop calling everyone who offends you a "degenerate" and do research from actually trustworthy LGBTQ+ sources?

-1
MaryMagicPie -1 points ago +1 / -2

The irony here is that you're angry that we "invade your spaces", but when we carve out our own spaces like this example, you still complain.

0
MaryMagicPie 0 points ago +1 / -1

No, but millions of dollars are funneled every year into anti-LGBTQ+ lobbying from far-right groups, and not just in America.

-2
MaryMagicPie -2 points ago +1 / -3

You're claiming that LGBTQ+ film festivals never existed, I showed evidence to the contrary, and now you're doubling-down. It's obvious what you're doing.

-1
MaryMagicPie -1 points ago +1 / -2

Minorities are still people, and there's still a market for them. But I agree with you in saying that gay people can have internalized homophobia and be prejudiced towards other groups. I also don't support hiring people based on sexuality and race only, but opening opportunities to help underprivileged groups gain work skills and benefits for challenges they may face, like disability funds and parental leave for all couples who need it. Also, if you're calling people slurs, then it's clear we still need to teach people about diversity and tolerance. You're very hypocritical.

-3
MaryMagicPie -3 points ago +1 / -4

You can't accuse others of gaslighting when you're being criticized. You're acting like the same snowflakes you criticize right now: deflecting and refusing accountability when critiqued.

-2
MaryMagicPie -2 points ago +1 / -3

Yes, how dare companies hire employees and change their business models and social images to appeal to more people. Do you know how businesses work? "Deliberately invading" literally means LGBTQ+ people getting jobs and being open in society.

-6
MaryMagicPie -6 points ago +1 / -7

It's not the LGBTQ+ community's fault when people are prejudiced and attack us. You're using us as a scapegoat for your own terrible behaviors and actions. We have the right to enjoy movies and video games too.
