Eh, they may have had a moment of claritiy about media manipulations and lies, but it was very brief.
Based on the threads I skimmed on Reddit's front page about the trial, all the people who expressed suspicion or outrage about the media coverage were quickly pacified and neutralised by more ˝experienced˝ Redditors, i.e. typical soyyak bugmen.
General example:
˝Yes, the NYT (WaPo, Vox, Vice, Slate, NBC, CBS, ABC, etc.) may have dropped the ball on this particular issue, but let's not go into an alt-right conspiracy rabbit hole, blah blah...˝
There were also many people praising LawTube (especially Nick Rekieta) for their expert and even-handed live coverage, only to be ˝warned˝ by the AHS brigade that ˝sorry sweaty, but Rekieta claimed that Rittenhouse was innocent soo he is racist transphobic Russian Nazi˝. The NPC programming was almost always immediately rebooted and updated with new firmware.
So I wouldn't expect any mass redpilling from this whole event, unfortunately.
