It should be no secret that the idealized vision of the financially conservative, socially Libertarian, anti-Globalist, populist Right that is currently enjoying a brief ascendancy was brought about by a wave of young, Internet-savvy independents swinging to the Right since 2014. You saw them everywhere on social media before the vast purges began. For the sake of brevity, let's call them "the Anime Right."

Contrasted against them are the "Tradcon Right." These are the financially insolvent, socially oppressive, globalist powermongering boomers who have dominated the establishment Right for at least the past half century, as well as a smaller but loud swell of ambitious newfags who want to emulate them because the libertarian populism part won't make you a billionaire or get you fawned over on Fox News.

All of the good things coming about in western society today as the result of the Anime Right rising for the past yet years, and merging with the establishment Right, and doing so with enough numbers and energy so as to overpower the Tradcons. The latter have lost footing in every single area of cultural and political action except for the tiny hats, and even that, impossibly, is beginning to be discussed somewhat openly if still in hushed tones.

They tried demoralizing the shit out of us, beginning with an event called #GamerGate, to get us to fall in line and it only made us angrier and more determined Now years later, what do we see? The age-old tactic of salami fighting, and loli art is the bait. What is salami fighting? Its a tactic taught in some martial arts as a way to deal with an opponent who outnumbers you. tl;dr is, you run and let them chase. Because people naturally have different body builds and running speeds and endurance, by stringing the enemy along using bait (in this case yourself) the enemy naturally stretches out into a thin line from fastest to slowest. Then you turn around suddenly and try to pull a quick takedown on the first person behind you before the second catches up. Then you repeat with the second person, and the third. It's like slicing a salami. You can't beat the whole thing, so you trick it into spreading itself thin and then you take out its pieces one by one in the order of lowest hanging fruit.

In this case its because the new Right is, well, new. It has fragility. Fault lines. Points of disagreement that are less important than the overall cause, but ripe to be exploited to cause fracturing if the enemy can just find the right wedge. And you know who the enemy's best allies are for this? The Tradcons who want control and power back.

The unlimited H1B argument didn't surprise me in the slightest, and I'm genuinely shocked at how surprised everyone else was by it, both here and elsewhere. Let me explain:

Silicon Valley is a viper's next of soft power, governing everything from your Internet search results to what candidates can advertise, and has been, almost since its inception, dominated by the Left. They flexed that power politically in 2016 and 2020 and we all saw the result. Whether you think its fair or not, they're a massive powerbase with a lot of say in who gets elected to what in this country.

But there are two factions there. You have the "Squirrel-kin Googler Creatives" on the bottom and you have the powerful money-men at the top, and its that second one who really decide the direction that SV blows politically. The other are, as many found out when Elon took over Twitter, wholly expendable. The Democrats and woke Left pushed SV so hard that even the money-men are feeling the negative effects, and for the first time in probably 50 years their minds have been forced open by economic reality. They're still a bunch of faggots, but the economic gun to their heads has finally, finally made them be willing to listen to the other side, as embodied in Elon and Trump.

So what did those two madmen do? They cast the Devil's Bargain spell. Offering unlimited H1B access is a bridge that even the Dems were never willing to cross before, so what they've done is pull a Civil Rights Act level coup on the Left. (For those who don't know, the CRA was originally proposed and backed by Republicans, but the Dems blocked the bill from passing, only to turn around and pass it themselves with a lot of PR campaigning so as to take credit for the idea, scooping the Republicans and condemning them to the "ebil racist" label forever.) Well now Trump and Elon are offering Silicon Valley and tech a similar world-changing benefit, scooping the Democrats. The Dems will want to oppose the measure purely on the basis of Orange Man Bad which will drive a wedge between them and Silicon Valley and all its money and power, but if they don't then they're siding with Orange Man and Muskrat which will send their base into a frothing Hell-rage.

The H1B thing accomplishes two things: First it pins the Dems and the Left into a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" situation that fucks up their guaranteed backing from the tech industry that rules the world. And secondly its a bribe offered to Silicon Valley industrialists in the vein of "have those niggers voting Republican for the next 200 years", to paraphrase Johnson and the stolen Civil Rights Act. Its an absolutely brilliant political maneuver. People are mad at the surface level "importing pajeets" that is a necessary component of it, but if the Dems retain a solid powerbase in SV those same Pajeets (and everyone else in every third world shithole) ARE STILL COMING. This is decision made entirely around establishing an alliance with SV power to keep the Dems from pulling another Biden on us in the future. Its a limited hangout that will end up saving us a massive amount of damage in the long run, and its well worth the political flack they're taking over it.

As many of you know I've always been a bit of an outsider to Reddit culture. I joined Plebbit in 2014 specifically to help coordinate with the GamerGate threads on 4chan/8chan. I like the mods here as people and have no dog in the hunt as to the current controversies regarding bans, etc. However two things that I am are one admin of an nearly 5 year old imageboard site, and a huge advocate of free speech.

What if we set up a /kia/ board on 8chan, and you guys brought the KiA2 contentious topics there instead? I'm not talking about a split (because its content that isn't wanted here, not desirable activity that we'd be trying to "steal"), I'm talking about an official alt chat set up with the blessings of the KiA2 staff and with official links exchanged. The 8chan GG archives are already linked here and we share links to KiA 2 liberally on 8moe already. This would just be taking it one step further, and might be enough to make everyone happy. The mods wouldn't have to deal with certain topics and posting styles, and those users would have a place to come speak their mind and completely avoid the facets of moderation they're upset about, but then come back here for the larger discussions that are more amicable to KiA's usual moods. Each place would be just a click away.

Think of it like this: Some subreddits have official Discords for chat the mods don't want on the public boards, but Discord is for faggots so I'll offer you an official imageboard instead (and let you have the kia name, no "2" unless you want it). 8moe's site rules are super simple: No CP, nothing else illegal, no pedoposting, no Fedposting, no kids allowed, don't spam/hack/bot, and spoiler your lewds. We have none of the "Reddit admin" type shit like actual Reddit has and no unwritten rules, by solemn vow of our moderation admin Mr. Parias. With rules that relaxed and global mods already on deck, any random couple of users can volunteer to mod a /kia/ board and that'd be plenty, and users can post anonymously there if they're worried about any kind of imagined backlash.

I want to stress that this should be an official board. I'm not offering the idea to step on the staff's toes here, and I have zero comment about KiA2 moderation - not my pony and not my show. My sole thought is that fuck knows we've seen too many communities split in the years since GG, and keeping cohesion in what we have left is drastically important. I made a similar offer to KiA once, in the weeks that lead up to the original KiA2 split and I've always felt the community could have stayed together if those guys had taken me up on it.

If you all want to talk it over amongst yourselves and especially with and between the KiA2 staff in this thread and decide if its a good/shit idea, I'm certainly game. It'd take all of ten minutes to set up and might save everyone some headaches.

Apologies for the lack of links, but this has been squeaking out all over the place. Details can be found on Kiwifarms when its up, and some were posted to 8chan.moe a couple days ago. It's a shitshow.

Soyjak was a /b/-tier shitposting site that had a massive dark side. Despite the site often raiding loli boards on other sites and communities to brand lolicons as "pedophiles", it turns out that the admins of the site were running a sophisticated and secretive grooming operation behind the scenes. They would make kid-friendly memes and offer free Robux to entice kids to the site, where the site admins themselves were spamming CP when traffic was up to desensitize the kids to it. Then some were selected and invited into a grooming Discord, where they were pressured and eventually blackmailed into producing CP and cutting themselves. At least one suicide is confirmed but people who knew about it have claimed there were many more that weren't documented. This all got out because of mod chat leaks by a disgruntled member of the pedo group matched up the admins' IP addresses to ones that were all over the logs for CP spam, and people started digging. Come to find out the owner of the site is a gay man in court for child molestation in Tennessee.

They also had raid groups that used abandoned TF2 chat servers to coordinate attacks on streamers, minor e-celebs, and anyone who threatened to expose the group. They sent CP to peoples work emails disguised as spam so it would go unnoticed, and basically "gang-stalked" targets across the Internet. They wouldn't touch the person but would attack any community the target was in whenever the person went there, to make that community become hostile to the target and isolate them. One bragged about "targeting their mental health directly" with this tactic.

There were minor rumbles about all of this back in April, but apparently enough finally got out that it blew up a few days ago and the owner pulled the plug on the site in a panic. He's trying to sell the domain now. Several people in the chan-o-sphere have been noticing a large rise in secretive IRL pedo activity across swaths of the alt-site Internet over the past year, but this is the latest and loudest exposure of it that I'm aware of. Soyjak had been raiding 8chan off and on for months prior to this, notably with some emphasis targeting the GG threads with soyface.jpg and CP spam. All the while claiming that 2D loli art was what they were protesting against.

I'm beginning to think "don't trust anyone who vocally hates anime lolis, because they're guaranteed to be a fucking pedophile" is becoming an iron law. 8chan GG did a quick tally and there's been over 500 such cases just in the last few years, with the infamous Dr. Pizza being just one tiny but well known example.
