I agree to an extent. If it's something pushed by YouTube, like all the people on Rewind, then it maybe should be monitored this way like other employers do to save brand image, but they should have some kind of employment contract. YouTube has been using its system to systemically build up those who push similar views and can take them down by no longer promoting them or demonetizing them. It's similar to the way the media works. If they had contracts regarding this kind of behavior, then it may limit how many "creators" are signed on by YouTube.
