I believe it is appropriate for every free thinker to proclaim their defiance in the face of slavery or gas chambers. The only time it wouldn't be appropriate is if you were willingly indoctrinated into a cult that convinced you to become a slave and/or die.

I was under the mistaken belief that most people where anti being pushed into gas chambers. Thanks BBC now I know.
