I find it funny that many people seem to hate Lovecraft for his views (Forgetting that he has been dead for like 90+ years and he was not... all there mentally) yet have no issue profiting out of his works, and they're apparently not racists for reading them when they're often the same people who think you'll become a racist if you share a meal with your Trump-supporting uncle or watch "Gone With The Wind".
They take a perverted satisfaction in using things like this in their sjw propaganda because they get off on the idea of making their original creator disgusted. It's why they like things like the removal of races in dnd and shit, they get a perceived "Win".
