No shit, what is the deal in Portland? They don't seem any more oppressed than anybody else in the country. And until they wrecked it, Portland has been a pretty nice place.

I don't even understand what their actual problem is. Ouside of "fuck the pig" what are the complaints?

That's just a big hippie town. The protests remain in those cities because they have no means and no understanding of anything outside their cities.
