The people in the community are good, but they're in the honeypot. You can have a conversation or discussion with any one of them and it is always productive. The moderator is the problem there. He also makes shit memes (as the left can't meme) and sticks them. His memes stay there for days and the community posts eclipse his stickied posts' upvotes.
Like I said, any one there will have a conversation with you. He is the only one who tries to shut it down. I had my suspicions, so I kept the conversation going. The thing the far left hates is a productive discussion, especially when the ideas differ
