As with the OK sign, this would be an ultimate troll. The peace hand sign now stands for “two genders”, as symbolized by the two fingers. If it takes off, all the hippies would be busted in old pics. Bask in the glory of post-hoc demonization.

I've found that for something like this to take off, the left has to want it to be true. 4chan might start the movement, but the leftist media has to run with it for it to really take off. For that to happen, the memes need to include the right people. The picture of Trump giving the peace sign needs to be in every meme front and center. Then you need right wing "white supremacists" posting it in tweets and posts, saying things like "Peace to Trump, we all stand with you". This also has to be a sustained movement. At least long enough for the left wing media to start writing stories about it.
Speaking of 4chan, I never understood why they gave up on the rainbow flag memes so quickly. They had some quality stuff, and I actually think the campaign might have stuck if they actually kept going. Too bad 4chan has the attention span of a goldfish. They really aren't the site they used to be.
