2 million players means the same as Disney+ subscriptions that comes with cellphone and other subscription packages.
Ubisoft Connect and its little cousin Ubisoft+ have teamed up with StarHub on its GameHub plan which inflates 'player' numbers over purchases of product and is the sneakiest way to hoodwink the average Joe as to how successful the game is.
I don't care about, nor dislike, Ubisoft normally but this marketing strategy of literally calling me a racist has me wanting them metaphorically burned to the ground.
Plus the game looks like a joke!
It’s also a massive shell game for investors. Investors are completely ignorant (or willfully compliant) that these numbers don’t mean direct purchases.
