I remember, years and years ago, 60 minutes or 20/20, one of those type of shows; did a report on changing public behavior. May have been on using public transport or recycling or some other nonsense.

It was, distinctly, a social engineering move to push people into something the interviewee (an “elected” official) wanted, but people generally went against. A removal of a public freedom, this I do remember.

And I’ll never forget this clown. He said “All you need to do is NUDGE people one way and you’ll change their behavior. That’s what we do, we give them that nudge.”

Thinking about all the horseshit crammed down our throats, this is an escalation of that thinking. We want it, nobody else does, so fuck ‘em and here it is.
