The guy that runs it is a Ukraine war and Israel superfan. minus points. He helped create 4E, so he gets my respect for that. bonus points. I think he lives in Peru or Venezuela now.
The forums are ok. I read them from time to time. They are behind on the overall culture war compared to these boards. More normie and ackTually opinions over there.
That explains some of the cringe I saw, but still far better then RPG.net lmao.

RPG.net. Christ. You could probably chart the infection of woke into TTRPGs by how that site went down the drain, given how many RPG Devs were posting there.
