It seems it was GBN's Charlie Peters' reporting of the judge's detailed recounting of some of the more horrific aspects of the Oxford rape gang (one of the largest in the country). Peters was apparently the only reporter in the courtroom and the details he recorded were insanely grisly.
Peters published on X (and GBN), Elon took notice, and the rest is, as they say, history.
