In this version, Superman comes to Earth after getting kicked out of 109 planets for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Then he accidentally crashes after seeing a penny in the snow and trying to grab it before Lex Luthor does. He is Earth's greatest ally, but don't ask him why he tried to sink the USS Liberty, as that's an anti-Kryptonian conspiracy theory.
