At a committee on Public Safety and National Security, Rachel Gilmore was brought as a witness to give a statement. She starts out by talking about the Freedom Convoy and how in the days after it, Russia invaded Ukraine. She uses the words "fringe" & "conspiracy theories."

Gilmore says Russia has a lot in common w/ the "Right-wing grift-o-sphere" where people rail against immigration, attack diversity, & oppose trans rights. She then identifies the biggest offenders of this: Lauren Southern, Tim Pool, Benny Johnson.
Know what else she calls "right-wing grifting"? Opposing murder of health insurance CEOs. https://t.co/XHnCPldedA

Fae Johnstone and Rachel Gilmore both associate with Deana Sherif, one of the most violent activists in the protest circuit.
Deana is currently in jail awaiting trial on serious charges, including assault police, assault with weapon, and hate-motivated harassment.
Fae and Deana have protested together several times. In 2023, Fae was Capital Pride grand marshal and Deana boasted about acting as “defender” at the front of that parade.
In 2024, Rachel’s TikTok content featured exclusive footage of so-called violent extremists taken by Deana’s ten-year-old daughter. Deana antagonized the subjects on private property while Rachel fear-mongered about the supposed risk of physical danger. This narrative was amplified by media outlets.
Curiously, all three individuals consistently promote the same message and talking points, in alignment with the Canadian Anti-Hate Network.
