The only thing I have to add to the comments is that there was an additional side theory going around involving Obama himself. Allegedly, there was some incriminating evidence in the CT state records about the man's true origins. Obama's handlers used Sandy Hook an excuse to push a CT state law that limited public access to the incriminating records. IIRC, the damning evidence was that he was illegally using CT resident's SSN. You have to remember that this happened during the peak "Obama is not American" years.
