It's also the sword that Mifune uses in Seven Samurai.

I highly recommend Nioh 2 if you want to try out some great Odachi combat.

I'm pretty sure that's a nodachi, not an odachi. Shorter, more similar to how europeans used Zweihändern than the craziness going on with odachi's.

Alternatively, I'm bloviating and there isn't a real difference.
