based on this article, it sounds like she suffered from actual gender dysphoria, and there was no treatment. So she likely turned to online hugboxes who repeatedly told her she was heckin valid and everyone who does not acknowledge her invisible penis was evil.
These people need actual treatment and counseling, not """validation""".
Whenever I hear testimonies from the transes about how HRT made them feel euphoric and seeing them get violently angry at the prospect of having their hormones taken away, it becomes self-evident that HRT is literally getting them high as a kite. Their behavior suddenly makes a lot more sense once you realize that they're addicts, and HRT is a hard drug.
And the psychiatric establishment is so captured that they're doing the equivalent of just handing out coke, meth, fent, etc to addicts - even to fucking kids. It's no surprise that HRT rots your brain like any other kind of hard drug. Heck, I've seen troons self-own by comparing HRT to bodybuilders who take steroids, as if dudes who take muscle meth and become incapable of controlling their anger and destroy their bodies are any kind of role model.
it's possible, the hormones have been used for other things beyond trooning people, and people who take them under those circumstances do not display addictive behavior. Troons also like to talk about the euphoria they get when they simply wear the clothes of their desired sex.
My take is that it is a combination of perverted sexual gratification, and satisfaction in achieving the goal of "becoming" the opposite sex. Of course, they will never actually become the opposite sex and they know it deep down. barring heavy makeup, costuming, and surgery, nobody will agree that they are the sex they claim to be without immense social pressure. any kind of normal interaction creates stress for them because of this, so they further retreat into the hug box. it ensnares them and entraps them until they literally cannot exist outside of it, and they go crazy.
This is why I refuse to accept "validation" as treatment for this kind of condition. encouraging a delusional person to retreat further and further into their delusion might make them happier in the short term, but it will ultimately destroy them one way or another. if the person is to live a long and happy life, they need to be able to come to grips with reality and accept it. I firmly believe this can be done with actual counseling, and a safe environment, where they're delusions are discussed and poked at gently over time.
The term "deadnaming" is a Freudian slip IMO. Trooning out is a symbolic suicide, a means of destroying one's identity in the hopes that it will enable them to escape their problems, but when it becomes undeniable that their problems are even worse after transitioning than they were before, the only escape is real suicide.
yup, It's why deadnaming and "misgendering" are such serious crimes in the troon world. it breaks the delusion and reminds them of reality, often times abruptly and in a way where they're not ready to handle it.
it's why I feel like counseling is so important. the longer you reject reality, the more it will hurt when it comes crashing down on you.
