I think I spotted this posted up here awhile ago but it's interesting it got a mention, it's sad this even has to be advertised as a feature of a game. You're probably going to see more indie developers take this approach of offline singleplayer and no-microtransactions or DLC as a selling point. If nothing else it will definitely help in standing out.

True, I'm not a big fan of injecting politics into entertainment, even if it is supporting "our side". But if the game is good I might try it out.
Offline singleplayer is definitely a big one for me. I should be able to game without internet.
