That's not even the worse part, this earnings call is going to really confirm people's prejudices about the games industry.
Our goal in 2024 is to drive top-line improvements and build upon the profitability we have achieved last year, while positioning us to achieve our $1 billion EBITDA target for 2025 with further growth beyond. We're off to a strong start with nearly $90 million positive EBITDA generated this quarter, despite absorbing some of the launch cost of LatAm. But more importantly, we're laying the critical groundwork and infrastructure from which we expect to build a broader and more profitable Direct-to-Consumer segment.
1 billion? Be happy with the sales that you have you greedy fucks. They know that they can't get anymore growth out of the games industry so they're targeting normies who have zero interest in games. After they realised they couldn't bring anyone new in the market and the locusts who show up are just trend followers they started trying to wring the playerbase dry, but people quickly got fed up of it of their monetisation practices.
Fuck me the things that I could do with $200 million alone, I would take over this industry. These shit heads are squandering any good will they might have had and are fucking over the industry doing it while acting like this is any other business. What a bunch of shit heads. The good news is this is a very clear signal of the death of the games industry, they are completely out of touch.

For $200 million, I would fix Derek Smart's entire lineup of mainline games (Battlecruiser 3000AD and Universal Combat), pay him off just get started (because of his ego), and have enough money left over to remaster the original MechWarrior trilogy (that is... if they weren't stuck in legal hell), Jane's Flight Sims from the 90s, or the many MANY games that are otherwise stuck on Windows 98 or late-era DOS (Most games from the Windows XP era onward generally work today on Windows 10 with some tweaks).
