I think it's a combination of mainstream subversion and a dash of psyop honestly. I wouldn't describe myself as a redpiller, but my impression of content previous to FnF was that it was more research based and calculating whereas now the sphere is beginning to resemble more of an episode of Jerry Springer. This is the natural progression of things as they get popular, generally, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the powers that be have decided to merge redpill analysis into "inceldom" as a new vector by which to attack men attempting autonomy and feminist critique.
