The people who get extremely emotional and up on a high horse about it are almost exclusively mentally ill leftists. For example, I was talking with someone the other day who went on and on about the flat earth. Not something I believe in at all, but so many crazies would go ballistic about how anti science it is and that's a mentality I could never understand.
