Is this technique even that effective anymore? From what I can discern from most of my corner of reality even your most tuned out person is well aware of this. I'm pretty sure it's starting to backfire, after all no one wants to see their favorite star all flabby and washed up. Movies are going through what the music industry did in the late 80's, early 90's and it didn't work then either.
