For me it's Captain Claw - 2d platformer for PC

Startopia as mentioned u/Lethn. You build a base or company on a donut-shaped space station in 3D so you can actually see the shape. Appropriately cheesy

Fantastic game. There's a newer version out, too, but I never followed up on it to see if it panned out. I suppose if it were better, I would've heard something.
