I think I remember checking the game out on steam and looking at the reviews and what was funny is even the people reviewing who actually wrote about the gameplay were pointing out it felt like a MOBA. The game she's featured in isn't even really a proper RTS.
Somewhat convinced that programmers at these companies don't even have the skill to design one which is why they always go for these dumbed down versions so consistently that and of course they need to appeal to the console market. The average western dev these days seems to loathe going anywhere even a slightly complex mechanic even if it's not that big of a deal to implement overall.
They don’t have the skills. What happens is they hire some developers to make 85% of a game, fire them, then hire diversity to complete the last 15% so they can have the tax kickbacks and internet brownie points.

Based on the preview videos I saw, it looked like a mediocre Age of Sigmar reskin of Dawn of War 2, so I didn't bother looking into it any more.
