The reporter chick or whoever (I know there was a female cat) will turn into Supergirl (with or without powers) and beat half of the villains for them, and when people get mad the soyboy manchildren in the audience will say, "but if you were REALLY a fan of the original you'd know whatsherface was ALREADY a really active powerful character"
