i feel like you worded your title incorrectly. according to your words, White men will be getting shorter sentences. but it's the opposite, in fact.

Title is clunky but correct. The guidelines only apply to short jail sentences, so everyone who would've otherwise been jailed for a short period won't be - except straight white men who will be jailed as per normal.
