In this sentence, it is “piqued”, not peaked.

Fortunately and unfortunately, peaked also works perfectly well grammatically in that phrase. As you have driven their interest to its peak.

They do make a nice distraction for the anti gunners though, seems like none of them have heard if FPC or any of the other actual pro rights groups.
