I go to a Lutheran church but a more conservative synod. Otherwise I wouldn’t be there. I guess they missed the part in Genesis about God creating male and female. No grey area

As far as I know this nonsense hasn't infiltrated WELS and the ELCA has always been squishy.

Very true. I’m Missouri Synod. A basic rule of thumb for any church I would consider attending is where they stand on abortion and lgbt. Especially lgbt because sadly a lot of modern churches mistake showing love to everyone as affirming sin.
