Like everyone else there are demographics within groups and some are shit. The christian kurds that are fighting muslims are not the ones fleeing and becoming "refugees".

The tweet might be not representative because he's reporting what some rando Kurd on twitter said (Google translate says "Kurds" but it's one guy) while showing a press conference of Kurds begging Japan not to change the immigration laws. Two separate events. In the press conference they are putting on the typical immigrant waterworks and acting nice and well behaved.
