It sure was a good strategy decision on their part to convince people that this isn’t a debate but rather one side is “on the right side of history” fighting for liberty and justice and whatever, while the other is hatred and oppression and evil. It worked well for a really long time. It convinced like a third of the cohort now in college and high school that they must be gay or non-binary or trans or dragonkin or SOMETHING other than normal.
Looks like the cohort coming up behind that cohort has other ideas though. Between this and the Muslim kids stomping the rainbow flags, I think we might be moving somewhat back toward “debate” rather than “good vs evil”
