They still won't say in the media that they had their heads cut off with a dull knife while awake and crying. Has never been publicly acknowledged.
I don't need to imagine - it's far more common than you might think. Most people are incapable of formulating a functional conscience on their own, and the only factor that determines whether their behavior is horrific or honorable is whether or not they were instilled with one at an early age by those who had well-formed consciences of their own, and were aware of the necessity of such a thing.
