AOC for example using the typical teenage girl retort of claiming men who criticise her just want to date her when literally nobody fucking brought it up.
Apart from the fact that AOC basically just acts like a teenager all the time, the other thing happening there is that women are wired to want to be perceived as pretty. No matter how much they claim they want to be seen as successful, fierce, StRoNg AnD cOnFiDeNt, you’ll notice that a majority of the ways they express those alleged traits is based on appearance and that even when they make social media posts about how successful or fierce they are, it always comes with the hottest selfie they can get in the moment and the comments are half “you look great, girl!” It’s based in “if I’m hot I get to have sex” psychologically, but they get similar dopamine hits from being told they look good, be talked about as if they look good, getting to do things associated with good looking people (getting asked to prom, rushing a sorority, etc etc). It’s just part of their makeup. Even Lizzo couldn’t be content with being perceived as a talent musician, or with her celebrity wealth, or with all the cool stuff and opportunities she has as a result. No, even she has to try and make people call her the new beauty standard, because she’s a woman and women need to be perceived as attractive.
