It's all American Liberal expats.
I fucking hate those people. They go squat in someone else's country, generally are completely obnoxious while they do it, and complain about the place they're supposed to be a GUEST in. Not only that, but their complaints are almost always political complaints, never just a simple cultural thing, but stuff they want forced through with "voting" as they act high and mighty like they know how to run the country better than it's actual citizens. All the while they go to parades like this to try to give the appearance it's a popular stance but if you look at the crowd it's just a bunch of liberal white jobless squatters, whatever actual Japanese friends they've managed to dupe into supporting it with them, and "Japanese" born outside of the country (second generation immigrants) and we all know how THEY are. All the fuckers know each other too, they're a cancer. Generally just shill vlogs on youtube about a maid cafe they went to while bitching about women's rights in Japan or some shit. Never learn Japanese either, the dumb fucks.
💯
Also any protests look huge there because of massive population density in the cities. If you zoom out there's more people just walking down the sidewalk. I've only started looking into Japan Pride this week but I gather the events have been commonly been seen as a festival - not a political front. I'm not sure how many people on the fringes are actually trying to get the LGBT discrimination law passed.
