I’m sure that once decades have passed, the distance of time and inability-to-do-anything-about-it will make it safe for all the info around this guy to come out, and it will be safe for the ruling class to moralize about its failures, sins, perversities, etc. We’ll eventually hear all about which famous/powerful people did what, exactly, on his island: who just visited, who fucked children, who was an active participant in ACQUIRING children to fuck, etc. Once everyone on that calendar is dead and the ruling class is refreshed with new heirs to power, we’ll get to hear just how fucked up things truly were. And our ruling class will promise to “do better” and nothing will happen. Maybe they’ll do damnatio memoriae rituals upon the worst offenders, like the left does with “problematic” historical figures, and pretend like that takes care of it. Meanwhile the raped children will be middle aged, still living with the horrors of what was done to them, but we’ll be asked not to worry about that. And whatever of their abuse was taped and uploaded to the internet will still be passed around by new generations of pedos, but we’ll be asked not to think about that, either.
