I want to highlight and congratulate the two Jewish writers/directors, John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein. It's so wonderful seeing two Jewish men leading a big budget film in Hollywood, they're so underrepresented.

It's really important to fight antisemitism. They went through over a dozen actors who walked away from the male roles, not because the script was so emasculating to every single male... People didn't walk away because the two even said in an interview about how they "love emasculating leading men" and spend this whole movie doing it. They didn't walk away because the marketing strategy is to insult and mock over 80% of the traditional target market.

No, people walked because they're both Jewish.

Finally Chris Pine, who is also Jewish, accepted the role after over a dozen others passed. Jewish people are so under-represented in Hollywood, so we really should shine a light on their under-representation.

Listen to these under-represented, oppressed minorities. Don't be an anti-semite. Be an anti-anti-semite. If you're not resigning from your job to get out of the way for strong, independent women, and you're not letting another man fuck your wife/girlfriend, then you're literally Hitler.
