How does the AI determine this? Is this something that's programmed in, or does it do some other machine learning BS?

Has to be programmed in I would think. I don't know much about AI programming, I'm only knowledgeable about more physical mechatronics.

Why do you think they're producing so much content, journalistically and academically?
