A prostitute. AKA a shady line of work of an often legally dubious nature that attracts clients of even more dubious character. Meaning people who have fewer compunctions against committing crimes like murder than the average person because they're already involved in plenty of other criminal activities (or already have poor impulse control).

And 69 years old? Yeah, that photograph provided of HIM is fake as hell. So we have a massive liar on top of it all, which is only going to draw the ire of said criminal clients even more. They do not take it well when they feel they've been cheated, and every method they have to deal with cheaters involves violence.

And funnily enough, the killer was a Columbian. So much for the "white man bad" and "diversity is our strength" narratives. Though they'll no doubt still try to pass this off as another transphobic murder, even though most of the people responsible for killing them are the same kind of unhinged psychos that would kill anybody and the Ts just so happen to be an easy target because they associate with those killers on account of being unhinged themselves.
