Why? It's not a bad game just mediocre and inferior to the original which you can buy for less and then play Dead Space 2 which is a great sequel.

I think focusing on calling it 'woke' we kind of fell into a trap than pointing out how it's inferior (lighting and sound design, changed character designs, writing quality) to it's predecessor.

It's why a lot of reviewers have managed to score it well by just saying 'the haters are being political' than having to address valid criticism.
