I suppose it depends on how 'national survival' is defined. Certainly Germany didn't bring back the Kaiser and Russia didn't bring back the Tsar. The fact that there was still a Germany or a Russia still standing at all is impressive enough, especially in the latter case considering Lenin & friends were pretty determined to extinguish Russian nationalism (which they called 'Great Russian chauvinism') and empower non-Russians as part of the process of undermining & destroying the Russian nation (seriously, korenizatsiya seems like something the present-day woke left would cook up).
I don't know what the future holds for sure, but looking at the degeneration of things from the French Revolution onward I can't really disagree with Tolkien's idea of the 'great decline'. Shit's been rolling downhill for a long time and it seems every 'great' new iteration of Satanic deconstructionism is worse than the last - Jacobinism first, then Marxism, Marxism-Leninism, Maoism and modern intersectionality, each working mightily to top its predecessors in nihilism, sadism and anti-humanity. But always it's been contained, defeated and suppressed for a time, even if the nations that overcame the threat at the time were understandably left scarred. (Some eras of peace & freedom from deconstructionism's long shadow are shorter than others, of course. Metternich and the Coalition Powers gave the world a respite that lasted 100 years, the respite after the USSR went under lasted less than 30)
Maybe you're right and the US will wall itself off from the rest of the world as the latter goes to hell over this century & the next. It already has pretty much all the resources it needs to survive & thrive on its own, or at least it can acquire them by gobbling up its comparatively weak neighbors. Or maybe a New World Charlemagne will emerge from Wyoming, striving first to restore order, purify evil and bring back the lost values of old in the United States before turning American arms outward to burn deconstructionism out from the rest of the Western civilizational sphere.
I don't know, but I do know that evil cannot conquer forever - just as it has boasted of doing so in the past, seemingly came close to it time & again (even at the beginning, Revolutionary/Napoleonic France still beat 5 out of 7 Coalitions assembled against them after all) but always ultimately fell short, no matter whether it took 30 years or 70. And given how much opprobrium the modern woke intersectionalists have been & are continuing to cultivate even in seemingly safe blue states like Virginia, I suspect the time to sow the earth with their blood might come sooner than it did for less openly degenerate & psychopathic strains of deconstructionism.
