I didn’t watch it but I assumed it was a garbage “reimagining” specifically made to anger actual fans. Similar to how the moronic showrunner of Wheel of Time specifically seemed want to crap on the novels

Agreed. Has Sanderson gave any opinions? I know he praised it but I wonder if he was just being diplomatic
