I know someone very well that works at a major tech firm that has amenities like this. On their new employee orientation it was encouraged that you take advantage of these perks, but to only use them within reason. Like on your 10-15 minute breaks or lunch not spend your whole day using them. And that those found using them more than working would need to be updating their resumes because you will be fired. I don’t know what the women who make these kind of videos do. But I can’t imagine their peers respect them at all if this really is a day in the life of their time at work and not a recruiting video.
