None of that is true. Ukraine never demanded nukes, and Ukraine was never close to joining NATO. Ukraine already had lots of nukes and gave them up in exchange for worthless promises from Russia. They obviously should not have.

Ronaldo Costa, Brazil’s representative to the UN, stated Brazil’s position as ‘strongly condemning the violation of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine’.
