Why is this downvoted? Even if you disagree (and I think parts of it are absurd), it's interesting stuff.
It's got nothing to do with nuclear weapons or drones. They're going to try to avoid using drones and planes on their own citizens for as long as they can.
A government needs legitimacy in the eyes of its subjectscitizens to be able to function properly.
That said, armed revolt is foolhardy, especially at the moment. First you try all peaceful means of fixing your grievances, if only to show your own supporters and the world (if the media did not suppress it) that you tried. If the regime cracks down and becomes openly authoritarian, then further steps would be able to be taken.
I suspect because without anything to back up the assertions made, merely shouted into the void, there's nothing to discuss.
It's simply doom-mongering, and while I didn't downvote it myself (it'd didn't reach my own benchmark of "shitting the bed") I can understand those that did.
