This Legolas here is a quite unique exception, but to be honest the non-LOTR elves have often looked very or even over-the-top Asiatic in modern fiction.

A female orc warrior, because of course. Where's Sarkeesian to decry a Violence Against Girls (VAG) when she's needed?
